On July 6, 2008 the Los Angeles Times published "Mary's Art Lesson", in print and on their website in the Kids' Reading Room. My short story was inspired by the 1854 drawing of ten-year-old Cassatt which I included in my book, Mary Cassatt: Impressionist Painter.
